What it is

A short list of what to read on a token page before you buy. The page shows what the chain says, so you can decide with the same facts as everyone else.

When to use it

Use it before any buy, and most of all in the first minutes of a launch.

Step by step

1

Read the preset

It tells you how long the opening rules last. See Launch rules and presets.
2

Look at Linked wallets

A wallet funded by the creator is a warning sign. A common source can also be an exchange. The section appears only when wallets look connected.
3

Check the dev's locked buy

See its size and when it unlocks, in Fees and locks.
4

Check the liquidity lock

There is no pool before migration, so nothing is locked yet except the dev’s launch buy.
5

Read the opening fee

While the fee is high, a buy can cost much more than it looks.
6

Open Verify

Open Verify to check the rules against the chain.

Numbers and limits

The dev buy also unlocks at migration, if that comes first.

What can go wrong

These checks do not make a token safe. Prices can fall to zero.
That does not prove the wallets are unrelated. The check flags wallets that share a funding source. It cannot prove who controls a wallet.
The page never shows a number it does not have. Try again later, or check on Verify.
